This is a full-time, paid clinical training program designed for individuals with no prior phlebotomy experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all aspects of the paid clinical training program, including classroom learning and supervised practical sessions.
  • Learn and master the techniques for venipuncture and capillary blood collection from patients of all ages.
  • Understand and adhere to strict safety, infection control, and patient privacy (HIPAA) protocols.
  • Assist in preparing patients for blood draws, including verifying patient identity and explaining procedures clearly.
  • Process specimens accurately, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and storage according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection areas and equipment.
  • Develop excellent communication skills to interact professionally and empathetically with diverse patient populations.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient comfort and safety throughout the phlebotomy process.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
