Job Description
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Remote Environmental Compliance Reviewer with full training provided. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the UK. This entry-level role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about environmental protection and regulatory compliance who are looking to start a career in the environmental sector. No prior experience in environmental compliance is required; we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. You will be responsible for reviewing environmental documentation, ensuring adherence to regulations, and supporting our senior team in various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo and actively participate in comprehensive training programs on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and internal review processes.
- Assist in the review and analysis of environmental reports, permits, and documentation for accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Identify potential non-compliance issues and flag them for senior team members.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all reviews and findings.
- Support the preparation of compliance reports and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and findings.
- Stay informed about changes in environmental laws and regulations as part of ongoing professional development.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in environmental issues and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Legally authorized to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (or working towards one)
- Previous administrative or data entry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with environmental legislation (e.g., EA, EPA) is beneficial but not required
