Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Virtual Tech Support Chat Agent, where you’ll provide outstanding technical assistance to our customers through chat. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in tech support without the need for phone calls. We value problem-solvers who are empathetic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Full training will be provided, and all necessary equipment will be shipped directly to you to set up your home office. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the convenience of working from anywhere within the United States, based out of our Missoula operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via live chat to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to internet, TV, and voice services.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting steps for hardware, software, and service configurations.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support technicians when necessary.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with product changes, service updates, and new technologies.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and meet performance metrics.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and security.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills and proper grammar.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and navigating various software.
  • A quiet, dedicated home workspace with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role (any industry).
  • Familiarity with telecommunications services (internet, TV, phone).
