Job Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and motivated Aviation Parts Courier to join our dedicated team in Llandudno. This fast-paced role is crucial for ensuring the timely and secure delivery of essential aviation components to our clients, including airlines, maintenance organizations, and manufacturers. You will be responsible for transporting critical parts, often under tight deadlines, requiring exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and an impeccable driving record. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport aviation parts and equipment to various locations, adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including manifests, delivery receipts, and vehicle logs.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of sensitive and valuable aviation components.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, aviation security regulations, and traffic laws.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, representing DHL Supply Chain with excellence.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B minimum).
- Clean driving record, free of major endorsements for the past 5 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in courier, delivery, or logistics roles.
- Familiarity with the Llandudno and North Wales road network.
- Knowledge of aviation security protocols (training will be provided).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle checks.
