Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Worker for a night shift position within our residential care facilities. This is an entry-level opportunity where full, comprehensive training will be provided, making it ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, regardless of prior experience. As a Residential Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to residents during the overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role is crucial in maintaining a stable and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor residents' well-being and safety throughout the night, conducting regular checks.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks as needed, respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging residents in calm activities or conversations.
- Administer medication as per prescribed schedules and facility policies (after training).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of observations, activities, and incidents.
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Collaborate with day shift staff to ensure seamless transitions in care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.

- Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification (training will be provided if not held).
