Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our Civil & Mining team in Griffith, NSW. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive administrative support to project managers and site teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating schedules, assisting with procurement processes, and maintaining effective communication channels within the project team and with external stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to contribute to significant civil and mining infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and site teams.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, drawings, and contracts.
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and minute-taking.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate logistics for site personnel and visitors, including travel and accommodation.
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and distribute project-related reports and presentations.
- Assist with onboarding new staff members and managing site records.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards in all administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or project support role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Aconex, MS Project).
- Understanding of civil construction or mining terminology and processes.
