Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated E-Learning Specialist / Technologist to join our dynamic Learning & Development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective e-learning solutions that support our global workforce. You will work closely with subject matter experts to transform complex content into interactive learning experiences, utilizing various authoring tools and multimedia resources. This position requires a blend of instructional design expertise, technological proficiency, and a passion for creating impactful educational content. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update engaging e-learning courses, modules, and interactive content using industry-standard authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives, gather content, and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Manage and administer our Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, user management, and reporting.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video, and animations to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of e-learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in e-learning, instructional design, and educational technology.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to learners and internal stakeholders regarding e-learning platforms and content.
  • Ensure all e-learning content adheres to company standards, brand guidelines, and accessibility requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our learning strategies and technological infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content publishing (SCORM, xAPI).
  • Ability to create engaging multimedia content (graphics, audio, video editing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in e-learning development or instructional technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD).
  • Experience working within the energy infrastructure or a related industrial sector.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) in learning contexts.
  • Proficiency in data analytics for learning outcomes.
