Job Description
Join Northrop Grumman as an Aerospace Engineering Intern within our Defense & Space Sector in Irvine, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of aerospace components and systems under direct supervision.

- Conduct research and data analysis to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Basic understanding of aerospace engineering principles, including aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, or flight mechanics.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous academic project experience related to aerospace or defense systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and simulation.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
