Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Warehouse Packer to join our team in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics, as full training will be provided. As a Warehouse Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods, maintaining high standards of quality control and operational efficiency within our busy distribution center. Your attention to detail will be key in packing items safely and correctly for customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Perform quality checks on all outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely after proper training.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
