Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Clinic Assistant to join our busy specialist practice. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our clinic, supporting our dermatologists and ensuring an outstanding patient experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dermatologists with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions and education to patients.
  • Process patient medical records, referrals, and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and clinic policies.
  • Ensure clinic cleanliness and organization, especially in treatment areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with the entire clinic team to optimize patient flow and care.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical receptionist or clinic assistant role, preferably in a specialist setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in medical software and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong patient service orientation and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (Medical) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a dermatology or cosmetic clinic.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
