Job Description
This is an entry-level opportunity for a Distribution Centre Order Picker. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. You will be a vital part of our logistics team, responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts after receiving proper training and certification.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all picked items, minimizing errors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand order picking instructions.
- Basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting (not required but a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (we will train on ours).
- High school diploma or GED.
