Job Description

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Drivers Mates / Porters to join our busy delivery team in Dunfermline. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who are looking for consistent full-time work with weekly pay and don’t mind early starts. You will be an essential part of our delivery operation, assisting drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of parcels and goods to various locations. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to start a career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of parcels and goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Navigate routes efficiently and safely alongside the driver.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring parcels are handled with care.
  • Help to safely move and position heavy or bulky items as required.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Accurately record delivery details and obtain customer signatures when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment within the vehicle and depot.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts.
  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or manual handling role (beneficial but not essential).
  • Familiarity with the Dunfermline and surrounding Fife area.
