Job Description

The Boca Raton is seeking an Eco-Tourism Lodge Assistant to join the pioneering team at our brand-new, off-grid eco-tourism lodge. You will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to eco-friendly practices and delivering world-class hospitality amidst the wild. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the eco-tourism lodge, including guest reception, check-in/out, and concierge services.
- Support guests with activity bookings, local information, and special requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, guest cabins, and facilities, adhering to eco-friendly standards.
- Participate in educational programs and guided nature experiences, assisting guests and contributing to their understanding of the local ecosystem.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ensuring all guest amenities are readily available.
- Support food and beverage services as needed, including setting up and clearing dining areas, and assisting with meal preparation for guests and staff.
- Conduct routine checks of lodge infrastructure and report any maintenance needs to the management.
- Act as a local ambassador, embodying the lodge's commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism.
- Assist with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and communication with the main Boca Raton office.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines specific to a remote, natural setting.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
- Genuine passion for nature, conservation, and sustainable living.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, booking systems).
- Physical stamina and comfort with outdoor work and varying weather conditions.
- High level of adaptability and resourcefulness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience living or working in remote locations.
- Knowledge of local flora, fauna, or ecological principles.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Experience with off-grid systems (e.g., solar power, water treatment).
