Job Description
Wells Fargo is seeking a dedicated and organized Filing & Post Room Clerk to join our dynamic team in Downtown Los Angeles. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual looking to start their career in a professional corporate environment, offering valuable experience in office administration and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining organized filing systems, and providing essential logistical support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Sort and distribute mail to various departments and individuals within the office.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring all documents are correctly categorized and easily retrievable.
- Prepare documents for scanning, archiving, and off-site storage.
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies for the post room and general office.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, scanners, and mail machines.
- Perform routine checks on mailroom equipment to ensure functionality and report any issues.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including photocopying, binding, and light data entry.
- Adhere to all company policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 pounds.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office, clerical, or administrative support role (internships included).
- Familiarity with mailroom operations or document management systems.
- Knowledge of basic record-keeping principles.
