Job Description
We are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) Intern to join our campus team in Yellowknife. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about student development and campus community building. The FSL Intern will assist in the coordination and support of fraternity and sorority organizations, contributing to the overall enhancement of student life. You will gain hands-on experience in program management, event planning, and student advising within a dynamic higher education setting. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for those with little to no prior professional experience but a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of FSL events and programs, including recruitment activities, educational workshops, and social gatherings.
- Provide administrative support to the FSL office, including managing calendars, preparing materials, and maintaining communication with chapter leaders.
- Support student leaders in understanding and adhering to campus policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of promotional materials and communication strategies for FSL initiatives.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Campus Life team to discuss ongoing projects and learn about broader student affairs operations.
- Help facilitate community service projects and philanthropic efforts involving FSL organizations.
- Engage with students and campus partners to foster positive relationships and an inclusive environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program, preferably in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Communications, or a related field
- Previous involvement in student organizations, leadership roles, or volunteer activities on a campus
