Job Description
Are you looking for a fun and dynamic first job or a flexible part-time role? Dairy Queen Granby is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Ice Cream Parlor Server. No experience is necessary – we believe in comprehensive training and fostering a supportive environment where you can learn and grow. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream treats, including cones, sundaes, blizzards, and cakes
- Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, dining space, and restrooms
- Restock inventory, including toppings, cones, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented attitude and friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but not required
