Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Post Office Clerk to join our team in Firth Park. In this role, you will be the face of our post office, assisting customers with a wide range of services including mail and parcel processing, banking transactions, bill payments, and retail sales. This is an active role requiring strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and a commitment to excellent service. Key Responsibilities
- Process mail and parcel services, including weighing, franking, and selling postage.
- Handle various financial transactions, such as banking deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments.
- Sell a range of retail products including stationery, greetings cards, and gift items.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues politely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and daily balancing procedures.
- Adhere to all Post Office policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Keep the Post Office counter area tidy and well-stocked.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
