Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote Creative Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, or the surrounding region. You will be instrumental in crafting compelling advertising copy and engaging product descriptions that resonate with our target audience and drive conversions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling copy for digital advertisements across various platforms (e.g., social media, search engines, display networks).
- Craft persuasive and informative product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and use cases for HubSpot's software and services.
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers, product teams, designers, and other copywriters to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment.
- Conduct thorough research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitor messaging to inform creative strategies.
- Optimize copy for SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and performance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to HubSpot's style guidelines.
- Analyze copy performance data and iterate on content to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in copywriting, particularly for advertisements and/or product descriptions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer psychology.
- Ability to adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and platforms.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and basic digital marketing tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong creative writing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience with A/B testing copy variations and interpreting performance data.
- Familiarity with HubSpot products or other CRM/marketing automation platforms.
