Job Description

BT Group is seeking dedicated Remote Emergency Dispatch Operators to join our vital WFH team. This role is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from your home office while contributing to essential public safety and service continuity. As an Emergency Dispatch Operator, you will be the first point of contact for critical incidents, coordinating rapid responses and providing crucial support to those in need. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize incoming emergency and critical service calls with empathy and efficiency.
  • Accurately assess situations, gather essential information, and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Dispatch and coordinate response teams (e.g., technical field engineers, critical incident teams) to incident locations.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with callers, field personnel, and relevant stakeholders throughout an incident.
  • Monitor active incidents, providing updates and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Document all call details, actions taken, and outcomes accurately in dispatch systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all company protocols, procedures, and data privacy regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a remote working environment.
