Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for technology and sales? Salesforce is looking for an enthusiastic Remote SaaS Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to launch or accelerate their career in technology sales within a world-class organization. As an SDR, you will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers. You’ll engage with businesses across various sectors, understanding their needs and demonstrating how Salesforce solutions can help them achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities (cold calls, emails, social selling) to identify and engage with potential customers.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria, understanding their business challenges and potential fit for Salesforce solutions.
- Effectively articulate the value proposition of Salesforce products and services to decision-makers.
- Schedule discovery meetings and demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system (Salesforce, of course!).
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Continuously learn about new product features, industry trends, and sales best practices.
- Achieve and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
Required Skills
- 12 months of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., sales, customer service, retail).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn and grow a career in sales.
- High level of self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
- Resilience and persistence in pursuing goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience with CRM software (preferably Salesforce).
- Familiarity with the SaaS industry and B2B sales cycles.
- Experience with prospecting tools and sales engagement platforms.
