Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and helping others plan their dream adventures? TUI Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Travel Booking Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. As a Travel Booking Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with all aspects of their travel plans, from initial inquiries to final bookings. You will utilize various booking systems to research and secure flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for every traveler. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers via phone, email, and chat with travel inquiries, bookings, and modifications.
  • Research and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services using GDS and internal systems.
  • Process payments, manage cancellations, and handle booking changes efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel requirements, and TUI products.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, TUI offerings, and relevant regulations.
  • Ensure all bookings comply with company policies and customer preferences.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role (1 year minimum).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel industry or a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
