Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across their specialist subject area, inspiring students, and contributing positively to our school community. This role requires a commitment to student achievement, a creative approach to teaching, and a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons according to the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or relevant subject
- Experience with specific educational technologies
- Leadership experience within a school setting
- First Aid certification
