Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Consultant to join our dynamic team in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions for our diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and configure the ServiceNow platform to deliver tangible value. This position requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, IT service management (ITSM) best practices, and excellent problem-solving skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of ServiceNow implementation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Design and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, and others based on client needs.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Perform system integration, data migration, and testing activities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Train client teams on new ServiceNow functionalities and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and product releases.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation and administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, XML, and HTML for ServiceNow platform customization.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using SOAP, REST APIs, and other methods.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-HRSD, CIS-CSM).
  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as IT Operations Management (ITOM), Security Operations (SecOps), or GRC.
  • Previous consulting experience with a focus on enterprise software implementations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
