Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and aspiring Level Design & World Building Intern to join our dynamic team. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the creation of immersive game worlds. You will assist in various aspects of level design, environmental storytelling, and world construction. This is an ideal role for individuals with a strong desire to break into the game development industry, requiring no prior professional experience. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Level Designers in conceptualizing, prototyping, and iterating on game levels.
- Contribute to environmental storytelling by placing assets, props, and lighting to create atmosphere.
- Learn and utilize proprietary game engines and level editing tools.
- Participate in playtesting sessions and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with art, design, and programming teams to integrate level elements.
- Document design decisions and processes.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for video games and an understanding of level design principles.
- Basic proficiency with computers and software applications.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

- A portfolio showcasing personal projects, even simple maps, mods, or 3D environments.
- Basic understanding of 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, Blender).
