Job Description

Severn Trent is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Sewer Workers (Trainee). This is a fantastic chance to learn a vital trade from experienced professionals, with full training provided. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our vast network of sewers, ensuring public health and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced Sewer Workers with routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of the sewer network.
- Learn to operate and maintain specialized equipment used in sewer cleaning and repair.
- Participate in emergency response activities, including blockages and pollution incidents.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Undertake on-the-job training and formal courses to develop skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues identified.
- Ensure all tools and vehicles are kept in good working order.
Required Skills
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
