Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart a career in safety with a reputable company? Hoffman Construction Company is seeking a motivated and vigilant individual for an Entry-Level Site Marshall position at our project site in Gresham, OR. This role is perfect for someone with no prior experience in construction safety who is eager to learn and ensure a safe working environment. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel. Your primary responsibility will be to support site safety operations, monitor adherence to safety protocols, and assist in maintaining an organized and secure construction site.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and direct site traffic, including vehicles, equipment, and personnel, to ensure smooth and safe flow.
- Enforce site safety rules and regulations, reporting any non-compliance to the Site Safety Manager.
- Assist in daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate safety instructions and warnings clearly to all site personnel and visitors.
- Support emergency response procedures and assist in drills as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of site entry/exit and safety observations.
- Operate communication devices to coordinate movements and respond to requests.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations (from prior exposure, not necessarily experience).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
