Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of smart meters and grid-related equipment.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures for field operations.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for daily installation tasks.
  • Perform basic testing and verification of installed components under direct supervision.
  • Accurately document work performed, equipment used, and inventory in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding service activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills in the energy sector.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • No prior experience in smart grid or utility installation is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
