Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of smart meters and grid-related equipment.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures for field operations.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for daily installation tasks.
- Perform basic testing and verification of installed components under direct supervision.
- Accurately document work performed, equipment used, and inventory in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding service activities.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills in the energy sector.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with using hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- No prior experience in smart grid or utility installation is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
