Job Description
As a Night Replenishment Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise during overnight hours. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-organized store environment, ensuring shelves are full and products are easily accessible for the next day’s shoppers. You will work as part of a dedicated team to prepare the store for opening, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and operational success. We are looking for reliable individuals who can start immediately and are eager to contribute to our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks and move merchandise to the sales floor or storage areas.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with new inventory, following planograms and merchandising standards.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste (FIFO – First In, First Out).
- Check and verify incoming shipments against invoices, reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including aisles, storage areas, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization as needed.
- Operate manual or powered pallet jacks and dollies safely (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and product rotation.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to arriving on time for shifts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to company procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stockroom environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
