Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Towing Yard Inventory Clerk to join our team in Marystown. This outdoor position is crucial for maintaining accurate records of all scrapped vehicles entering and leaving our yard. You will be responsible for logging details, conducting visual inspections, and ensuring the organized flow of inventory in a dynamic, outdoor environment. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately log and record details of all incoming and outgoing scrapped vehicles.
- Perform visual inspections of vehicles for identification, VIN verification, and condition assessment.
- Maintain organized physical and digital inventory records, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with the strategic organization and placement of vehicles within the yard.
- Operate basic yard equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Ensure all inventory procedures comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the yard management team to optimize inventory flow and storage.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and sun.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, lift, and work outdoors for extended periods.
