Job Description

We are committed to your success and will provide full, comprehensive training, including funding for your forklift operator licence. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training programs, including classroom and on-the-job instruction.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures related to forklift operation and material handling.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently after obtaining certification, under direct supervision initially.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and finished products.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support inventory management by accurately moving and tracking materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and production schedules.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs as required in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (not required, but a plus).
  • A valid G class driver’s license or equivalent (asset).
