Join Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks as a Trainee Wildlife Conservation Officer. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs and workshops.
- Assist experienced Wildlife Conservation Officers in patrolling protected areas, forests, and waterways.
- Learn to identify and respond to wildlife-related incidents and public complaints.
- Support the enforcement of provincial wildlife, fisheries, and environmental legislation.
- Aid in collecting data for wildlife surveys and research projects.
- Engage with the public, providing information on conservation practices and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to field activities.
- Learn about wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and management techniques.
- Maintain and care for equipment and vehicles used in conservation duties.
