Job Description
We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Virtual Music Teachers specializing in Piano and/or Guitar to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to teach students from the comfort of your own home via webcam. As a Virtual Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing engaging, personalized, and effective online music lessons, adapting your teaching style to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and personalized one-on-one virtual music lessons (Piano and/or Guitar) via webcam.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on student age, skill level, and learning objectives.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical potential.
- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and scheduling.
- Utilize online teaching tools and resources efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in playing Piano and/or Guitar (minimum RCM Level 8 or equivalent proficiency).
- Demonstrated ability to teach music effectively to various age groups and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet teaching space.
- Proficiency with video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching music online or in a virtual setting.
- Knowledge of music theory, composition, and improvisation.
- Ability to teach multiple musical genres.
- Access to high-quality audio and video equipment (microphone, webcam).
