Job Description
Join the Canadian Tire team in Estevan as a Weekend Retail Assistant! We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to support our store operations during peak weekend hours. This role offers flexible shifts and an immediate start, perfect for someone looking to gain valuable retail experience or supplement their income. You will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a tidy store, and ensuring our customers find everything they need with ease. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals regardless of prior retail experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process transactions accurately at the cash register and handle payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking shelves and arranging merchandise
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing new shipments
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
- Support store management with various operational tasks as needed
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg)
