Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Curriculum Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining engaging lesson plans and educational content for various subject areas and learning levels. You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and product teams to create high-quality, impactful learning experiences that align with our product goals and educational standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans, learning modules, and assessment materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Translate complex topics into clear, concise, and engaging educational content suitable for diverse learners.
- Ensure all curriculum materials meet established educational standards and learning objectives.
- Review and revise existing content based on feedback, performance data, and evolving educational best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our curriculum development processes and standards.
- Maintain documentation of curriculum design, content specifications, and revision history.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with common educational software and online learning platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, English, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Experience with Canvas LMS or other major Learning Management Systems.
- Familiarity with various educational technologies and multimedia content creation.
- Experience developing curriculum for K-12 or higher education audiences.
- Prior experience working in a fully remote team setting.
