Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Gated Community Security Guard for a comfortable, sit-down role in a pleasant gated community in Athens, GA. This position focuses on access control, customer service, and maintaining a welcoming yet secure atmosphere. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, requiring a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. This is primarily an observation and access control role, ideal for those seeking a steady, less physically demanding security position in a friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points for residents and authorized visitors.
- Verify credentials and issue visitor passes as per community protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of all persons and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
- Respond to inquiries and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct routine patrols of the immediate gatehouse area and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Operate security equipment such as CCTV and access control systems.
