Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Blacksmiths Striker to join our esteemed team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the foundational skills of blacksmithing and metalworking under the guidance of experienced artisans. As a Striker, you will play a crucial supporting role in the forging process, assisting the master blacksmith with heavy hammer work, material preparation, and maintaining the workshop. Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting master blacksmiths with striking operations, involving heavy hammer work.
  • Preparing metal materials, including cutting, grinding, and heating.
  • Operating and maintaining workshop tools and equipment safely.
  • Handling and moving raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
  • Learning and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting with general workshop duties as required.
