Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marine Patrol Assistant to join our Public Safety team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about public safety, water recreation, and community service. You will assist in patrolling our designated waterways, ensuring compliance with boating regulations, providing public assistance, and contributing to overall water safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated waterways using provided watercraft to ensure public safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Provide assistance to boaters and the public regarding waterway rules, safety practices, and navigational information.
  • Respond to and assist in water-related incidents, accidents, or emergencies as directed.
  • Conduct routine safety checks of vessels and equipment.
  • Educate the public on safe boating practices, environmental protection, and local ordinances.
  • Maintain patrol logs and prepare incident reports.
  • Perform basic maintenance and inspection of patrol watercraft and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other public safety personnel and emergency services as needed.
