Job Description

Join Accenture as a Virtual Citizen Support Agent, providing critical assistance to citizens navigating government benefits programs. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a tangible impact on individuals’ lives. You will be the primary point of contact for inquiries related to various government benefits, offering clear, empathetic, and accurate information. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills and a passion for public service. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to support our citizens effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to citizen inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding government benefits programs.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information on eligibility criteria, application processes, and program specifics.
  • Guide citizens through complex procedures and forms with patience and clarity.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior agents or specialized departments as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all citizen interactions.
  • Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality guidelines related to citizen data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to stay current with program updates.
