Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our team in Truro. This exciting role offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission on every lease you secure. You will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, showcasing community amenities and various floor plans.
- Process rental applications, background checks, and lease agreements accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing outstanding customer service.
- Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions, competitor properties, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current residents to encourage renewals and referrals.
- Participate in community events and resident retention programs.
Required Skills
- Proven sales or customer service experience (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, email).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Valid UK driving license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential leasing or property management.
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
- Knowledge of the Truro and wider Cornwall real estate market.
