Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Industrial Packer to join our manufacturing team in Reidsville, NC. This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, offering top pay for dedicated individuals. As an Industrial Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently, maintaining the high standards of quality that Graphic Packaging International is known for. Key Responsibilities
- Operate packing machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines and production standards.
- Inspect products for quality control, ensuring they meet specifications before packaging.
- Package finished goods into boxes, crates, or other containers, securing them properly for transport.
- Label packages accurately with product information, shipping details, and safety warnings.
- Prepare completed orders for shipment, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of packing materials and report shortages to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize packing processes and meet production targets.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on packing equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with excellent attendance.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow all company guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging role.
