Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Producer to join our creative team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production lifecycle of various broadcast and digital projects, from concept development through to final delivery. This involves managing budgets, schedules, talent, and crew, ensuring the highest standards of production quality are met. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in media production, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for crafting compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of production from development to post-production.
- Develop compelling content ideas and proposals.
- Manage production budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Recruit, manage, and motivate production teams, including talent and crew.
- Ensure all productions adhere to broadcast standards, editorial guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners, including commissioners and distributors.
- Oversee creative direction and quality control throughout the production process.
- Problem-solve effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Producer or equivalent role in broadcast or digital media.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex production budgets and schedules.
- Strong understanding of the production workflow, from pre-production to delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas and translate them into engaging content.
- Familiarity with industry-standard production software and technologies.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel for shoots.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Film, Television Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience working on a variety of genres (e.g., drama, factual, entertainment).
- Knowledge of BBC editorial guidelines and compliance procedures.
- Previous experience with international co-productions.
