Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity in the bustling world of hospitality? Moore & Moore Cafe is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Cafe Runners. This is an easy-to-learn role perfect for someone with no prior experience in a cafe setting. We believe in nurturing talent and will provide full, comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and capable. Your main goal will be to support our front-of-house team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service by quickly and efficiently delivering food and beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen/bar to customer tables promptly and accurately.
- Assist waitstaff with clearing tables and resetting them for new customers.
- Ensure tables are clean and tidy, including wiping down surfaces and arranging cutlery.
- Replenish condiment stations, cutlery, and napkins as needed.
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks like washing dishes or light prep during quiet periods.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including designated service stations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Help maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere for all customers.
Required Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate (if applicable for some duties).
- Current Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
