Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Tableau Developer to join our growing Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, designing and developing impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations that empower business users across various departments. You will work closely with data analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to understand requirements, develop robust solutions, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
- Connect to various data sources, perform data blending, and develop data models for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing thorough testing and validation of developed solutions.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Provide support and training to end-users on Tableau dashboards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and data visualization trends.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for all developed solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tableau Developer, creating complex and interactive dashboards.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
- Ability to connect to various data sources (e.g., databases, flat files, cloud platforms).
- Experience with data modeling and performance tuning in Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Kimball methodology).
- Experience with scripting languages like Python for data preparation.
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate qualification.
- Experience in the online gaming or sports betting industry.
