Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our innovative team in Eugene, OR. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed design and analysis of aerospace components and structures using CAD/CAE software.
  • Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analysis to ensure components meet rigorous aerospace safety and performance standards.
  • Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and finished products, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform design and development processes.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aerospace design, analysis, or testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace principles, including aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion, and materials science.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with fatigue and fracture mechanics.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis and simulation.
  • Experience in project management or leading small technical teams.
