Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Human Resources (HR) Director to lead our HR function in Feltham, UK. This critical leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, foster a positive and productive work environment, and support our diverse workforce. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. This position is open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship, demonstrating our commitment to attracting global talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, particularly for international talent requiring sponsorship.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in compliance with UK employment law.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address organizational development needs and implement change management initiatives.
- Oversee HR budget and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Extensive experience in talent management, including recruitment, development, and retention.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
- Experience with visa sponsorship processes and international talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and relevant HR technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a global logistics, supply chain, or multinational corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational design and change management.
