Job Description
Spokane Entertainment & Concessions is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Candy Floss Machine Operator for our busy fairground food stands in Spokane, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves a lively atmosphere and enjoys bringing smiles to people’s faces. We are looking for individuals who are ready to learn, as full training will be provided to ensure you become a candy floss master! As a Candy Floss Machine Operator, you will be at the heart of the fairground experience, responsible for creating delicious and fluffy candy floss, serving customers with a friendly smile, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate candy floss machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality treats.
- Prepare, package, and serve candy floss to customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including equipment and countertops.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and ensuring a positive experience.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required.
- Experience handling cash or operating a POS system.
- Current Washington Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
