Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives and drive significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technology sales, particularly within the financial services or insurance sectors. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, building and nurturing high-performing sales teams, and establishing strong client relationships to expand our market presence across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and forge strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and client services teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market engagement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior management.
- Represent Alchemy Technology Services at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the technology sector.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the software sales lifecycle and complex enterprise solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience with international market expansion and global sales strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SaaS business models.
