CGI is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Junior Cloud Support Associate. This is a fully remote, entry-level position where no prior cloud experience is required. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to clients for cloud-related inquiries and issues via various channels (chat, email, phone).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic cloud infrastructure and application problems.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Actively participate in ongoing training programs and pursue company-sponsored cloud certifications.
- Monitor system health and performance, identifying potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve support processes.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and adapt to changing technologies.
- Basic familiarity with computer operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or help desk role (non-technical is acceptable).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS).
- Enrollment in or completion of a college diploma or university degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems or remote support tools.
