Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Supply Chain Controller to join our dynamic team in Tottenham, London. This pivotal role involves overseeing and optimising the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. The Supply Chain Controller will be instrumental in managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, coordinating logistics, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. A strong understanding of supply chain principles, data analysis, and regulatory compliance is essential. You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to maintain a seamless flow of operations and contribute significantly to our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyse key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage inventory levels, ensure accurate forecasting, and minimise stockouts and overstock.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to optimise material flow.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on process optimisation and technology adoption.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance for senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of inventory control and demand forecasting.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Previous experience in the retail or FMCG sector.
