Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Driveway Attendant to join our team in Sunshine. This entry-level, casual position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry, providing essential support to our dealership operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. You will be the first point of contact for many visitors, helping to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all customers and visitors upon their arrival at the dealership.
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic efficiently and safely within the dealership premises.
- Assist customers with parking and retrieving their vehicles, including valet services as required (with comprehensive training).
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and professional appearance of the dealership driveway and surrounding areas.
- Provide assistance to customers with luggage, purchases, or other items as needed.
- Answer basic customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Must possess a valid Australian Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various casual shifts, which may include weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with the local Sunshine area and major routes.
- An enthusiastic interest in the automotive industry.
